Experienced Carpenter 

Job type:  Full Time, Daytime, M-F, overtime offered occasionally

We are looking for an experienced carpenter who is ready to walk on to the job site and work with us. The perfect fit for this position would be a self starter who is willing to get the job done and knows enough about working in a residential space to hold their own on the jobsite. You would work with our team of project managers to ensure that your projects are being completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards. 

Satin Touch is the Twin Cities Premier Design and Build firm located in Ham Lake, MN. We do work all throughout the Twin Cities focusing primarily on home remodeling, finishing, and custom design. Location: Residential homes throughout the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Our office is located in Ham Lake, Minnesota where we will host occasional meetings. Occasional warehouse work in Ham Lake is required.

In this position you would be responsible for:

• Completing projects according to the scope provided by project management and our designers
• Occasional training of new or current employees on skills and techniques that you are skilled in
• Utilize problem solving to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances
• Attention to detail when reading job description to ensure projects are completed according to scope
•  

In this position you will travel to the job site you have been assigned to and complete the tasks needed for that day. You and the project managers will keep up communications with each other on the progress of the job, any needed supplies or tools, as well as sharing progress photos and videos. Each project will have a detailed scope of work that will provide you with any next steps should the assigned work be completed early. 

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• Framing
• Drywall installation and finishing
• Flooring installation
• Cabinet installation
• Millwork installation
• Custom Builds
• Decking
• Staining and painting
• Window installation

Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Diver’s license 
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to problem solve
